FRYEBURG — Black ice on Route 113 was the cause of an accident that destroyed a North Fryeburg woman’s sport utility vehicle Tuesday morning, police Chief Phil Weymouth said.
Morgan J. Wright’s 2000 Ford Explorer went off the road and rolled over about 8:45 a.m., he said. She was not hurt.
“The road was just a little bit wet,” he said, and freezing temperatures turned a wet patch of road into black ice.
