PARIS — Maine Machine Products in Paris has laid off 11 full-time employees and placed another 40 on a two-week on, two-week off rolling lay off.

The move was made due to an end of the year slow down of work, said Human Resource Manager Erika Douglas.

The facility, located on Prospect Street, will also be shut down for two weeks beginning December 20.

The company manufactures precision machine components for various markets including defense, semiconductors, and oil and gas.
