AUBURN — Michael and Elizabeth Burke of Mexico are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Tasha Lynn Burke of Auburn, to Lucas Drake Kadnar of Auburn, son of Julie Kadnar of Oakland and the late Steven Kadnar.

Miss Burke is a 2000 graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford and a 2003 graduate of Central Maine Community College in Auburn. She is employed at RSU 52 at Leeds Central School in Leeds as a special education educator and also at the Village Inn in Auburn.

Mr. Kadnar is a 2001 graduate of Messalonskee High School in Oakland and a 2003 graduate of Eastern Maine Community College. He is employed at Kris-Way Truck Leasing as a diesel truck mechanic in Auburn.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. on July 29 at Sunday River in Newry.
