PERU — Douglas and Paula Marsters of Canton are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Miranda Charlotte Marsters of Peru, to Jason Harold Holman of Peru, son of Jim and Paula Holman of Dixfield.

Miss Marsters is a 2001 graduate of Dirigo High School and graduated from Central Maine Community College with an associate degree in early childhood education. She is currently attending the University of Southern Maine, L-A College, to earn her bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences. She is currently working full time at Chisholm Head Start in Rumford as an infant toddler specialist.

Mr. Holman is a 2001 graduate of Dirigo High School and completed a certificate course for small engine repair earlier this year. He is currently employed at Irving Forest Products in Dixfield, where he is an assistant team leader for the night shift in the sawmill department.

The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. on June 4 at the First Congregational Church in Andover.
