Loggins said the display in front of his and Bang’s homes took 200 hours to set up, including roughly 170,000 lights that are synced to holiday music through a computer that can be tuned in on an AM/FM radio. Loggins said the recent rains and high winds delayed this year’s launch of the annual show. It is the fourth year he’s treated motorists to the flashing, multicolored lights. A steady stream of vehicles slowed to a crawl in both directions along Vista Drive on Saturday. Motorists shouted their appreciation, including an SUV full of teenage girls who screamed, “This is amazing.”
