WEST PARIS — Delores B. Stanley, 81, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, at Ledgeview Living Center.
She was born in Norway on Jan. 30, 1929, the daughter of Joseph and Phoebe (Cobb) Bailey.
She was married to her beloved husband, George H. Stanley, for 60 years.
She had worked as a secretary for the Maine Central Railroad for many years. She was a graduate of Norway High School and Westbrook Junior College.
She is survived by three brothers, Peter Bedard and wife, Joanie, of Manchester, Curt Bailey and wife, Joanne, of Otisfield and Jeff Bailey and wife, Lorraine, of West Paris; sister-in-law, Ruth Nichols, of Freeport; cousins, Laura Ashton of Pinnelas, Fla., Gardner Cobb and wife, Kathy, of Alaska, Gary Cobb and wife, Lisa, of Ohio, Glenn Cobb and wife, Jan, of Ohio, Greg Cobb of Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, George, on May 10; a special uncle, Arthur B. Cobb; aunt, Lucy Wiley; and uncle, Gardner Cobb.
