After sliding off Morrison Hill on Route 2 Tuesday morning in Dixfield, Jordan Leavitt, 22, of East Wilton, watches from left while his father shifts his car into neutral for M/T Pockets towing owner Bob Riley, center. Dixfield police Officer Anne Simmonds-Edmund said that at about 9:30 a.m., Leavitt was driving west down the hill in a 2005 Dodge Neon when it got caught in slush from a morning snowstorm. She said the Neon went off the road backwards, slammed into a sugar maple and spun around to nose into a few trees. Leavitt was shaken up but otherwise uninjured. The Neon sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage.
