BETHEL — Adele Myers and Dancers, a troupe described as inventive, playful and energetic, will perform Tuesday, Jan. 4, at Bingham Auditorium.
The performance, presented by the Mahoosuc Arts Council as part of the Gould Performing Arts Series, will begin at 7 p.m.
Founded in 2000, Adele Myers and Dancers is a five-member contemporary dance company that combines athleticism, theatricality and social commentary.
“These presentations will definitely open doors to new definitions of modern dance in the eyes and minds of our Western Maine audiences,” said Mahoosuc Arts Council Executive Director Aranka Matolcsy.
Myers’ choreography has been presented at the Bates Dance Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, Velocity Dance Center, New Haven International Festival of Arts and Ideas, Stonington Opera House, DanceNowNYC, Dance New Amsterdam and Joyce SoHo.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children and seniors.
