PARIS — Oxford Hills Christian Academy recently wrapped up another season of soccer. The team is open to all OHCA students and home-schoolers in Grades 7-12. Coaches this season were Michelle Wheeler, Holly Corning and Crystal Conant. The team played its home games at the Veteran’s Home on High Street.

The team capped its season at 5-4-1, scoring 52 goals along the way. Ben Field and Emerson Rancan combined for 36 goals to lead the team. Colleen Kostovick, an eighth-grader, netted five, and seventh-grader Hope Proctor scored her first-ever goal.

Steve Corning made 49 saves in the team’s 10 games, while Edson Rancan made another 45 in shared duty between the pipes.

OHCA advances to the league semifinals for the first time this season, losing in that round to Pine Tree Academy of Freeport, 4-1.
