NORWAY — Helen C. Morse, 91, of Norway, died Saturday, Dec. 25, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway.

She was born in Norway on Septe. 23, 1919, the daughter of James C. and Ethel Stanley Cleveland.

She has resided in Norway most of her life.

She worked in the Norway Shoe Shop for many years. She attended Norway schools and was a member of the Norway Methodist Church.

Helen married Harlan W. Morse on Aug. 30, 1940. He died on Dec. 4, 1985.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Joan M. Greene and her husband, Jeffrey, of Norway and Conway, N.H.; two sisters, Betty Crockett and Esther Estes, both of Norway; two brothers, Ralph W. Cleveland of North Norway and John W. Cleveland of South Paris; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harlan; two sisters, Ruth Moody of South Harpswell in 2007, and Jolene Cleveland in 193; and a brother, James F. Cleveland in 2000 of Norway.
