LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative and Healthy Androscoggin announce open registration for the next Families in Action workshop beginning Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Lewiston Middle School.
The workshop will be held in six sessions over six consecutive Wednesdays starting Jan. 5. Sessions begin at 6 p.m., with free food served beginning at 5:30 p.m. Sessions run until about 8:30.

There are group discussions, video presentations, activities and games. Families in Action is facilitated by two experienced family education and counseling specialists from Community Concepts.
The workshop is free and open to families in Lewiston and Auburn with students in sixth- through ninth-grade.
