BLUE HILL — Margaret Elizabeth (Peggy) Gielarowski, 91, passed away peacefully Dec. 28, at the Blue Hill Hospital.

She was born in Sabattus, Oct. 30, 1919, the daughter of Leonard and Agnes (Welch) Thompson.

Peggy grew up in the Lewiston area, where she met and married Henry (Hank) Gielarowski. She moved to Brooklin to be with family in 1987. She greatly enjoyed the friendship and interaction with the girls at the Brooklin General Store, and her special friend, Ed, who brought her lunch every day.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Nancy Gielarowski; special nephews, Bill and wife, Leslie Gielarowski, of Brooklin, Steve Gielarowski and wife, Monica, of Lorton, Va.; and many other nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Pat and Bill Daley; and husband, Hank.
