GARDEN CITY, S.C. — Charles Gill Jr., 75, formerly of Union, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 30, at his home in Garden City.

Charles was born in Savannah, Ga., on April 21, 1935, a son of the late Charles Gill Sr. and Doris Langford Gill West. He was retired from Kroger Grocery Co.

Surviving are three daughters, Carmen Gill of the home, Jessica Gill Henderson of Murrells Inlet, and Debra Gill Barefoot of Fayetteville, NC; one son, Charlie Gill of Lockhart; two step-daughters, Shannon Gordon of Murrells Inlet and Pamela Hawkins Tinsley of Spartanburg; two sisters; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
