LEWISTON — Susan A. Bouyea, 50, of Pettingill Street, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, at her home, following a long illness.
She was born in Lewiston on Sept. 28, 1960, a daughter of Allan de Hayes and Nancy (Russell) Frost. She graduated from Lisbon High School, Class of 1978.
Susan worked for many years as a caregiver for John F. Murphy Homes. She truly enjoyed helping people. She was a member of The American Legion Post 158 Auxiliary.
She leaves her mother, Nancy Frost of Lisbon; her father, Allan de Hayes, and his wife, Colleen, of Turner; her companion, Mark Grover, who took excellent care of her during her illness; two brothers, Paul de Hayes of Brunswick and Mike Frost of Eustis; her best friend, Doreen Heath; and the love of her life, her dog Sugar.
She was predeceased by a brother, Jack Frost.
