I wonder who is running the city of Auburn. I thought it was a good thing when we got a new city manager, but maybe it was a big mistake. Sure, there is a lot of spending that can be cut, but how thin can you slice the loaf?

Recently, there was a very bad accident on Minot Avenue and traffic was detoured to Merrill Road on to Hotel Road. That was all well and good, but the city is so poor, signs were used to direct traffic. A police officer at both ends of Merrill Road should have been in place.

Believe me, someone made a big goof.
