Snowflakes, snowmen

NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will hold a Snowflakes and Snowman program at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, when children in first through sixth grade are invited to explore the magic of snow.

Staff will have some snow trivia as well as a snowflake and snowman craft. For more information or to register, call the library at 743-5309, ext. 4.

CNA classes

BUCKFIELD — The CNA program at Oxford Hills/Buckfield Adult Education has openings available. The course will begin Tuesday, Jan. 18.

Truck Driving Class A and Class B will begin Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Donations sought

TURNER — Donations are being requested to assist Marie McCafferty of Buckfield, who lost her business, Marie’s Pet Retreat, in a fire on Dec. 22.

Jana Swengel has organized the collection of building supplies, money, towels, large plastic dog crates and other items for the business. Items can be dropped off to Swengel or Jaylene Gonyea at Richardson’s Sales, 225-3460, 1630 Auburn Road.

Donations can also be sent to Marie’s Pet Retreat Rebuilding Fund, 470 Bear Pond Road, Buckfield, ME 04220.
