LEWISTON — Joyce L. Palman, 77, of Lewiston, passed away on Jan. 4, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 17, 1933, in Lewiston, the daughter of Allan and Marie (Brown) Clark. Joyce was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of 1951. She married Raymond Palman in 1952, and they are lifetime residents of Lewiston. Joyce was a stay at home mom for many years, but later worked for JCPenney in the catalog department.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed quilting, Beano, traveling to Bangor with her good friend, Marianne Spugnardi to visit Hollywood Slots, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Joyce is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond Palman; children, Frances Dumont and husband, Duane, Cathleen Palman, Susan Sproul and companion, Dennis Lavoie and David Palman and wife, Joanne D’Unger; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; son, Michael Palman; and brothers, Allan Clark Jr. and Stephen Clark.
