BRUNSWICK — The Theater Project’s Professional Ensemble will present “Pride and Prejudice” and “Winter Cabaret” on alternate evenings (and Sunday matinees) during January and February.
The opening production, an adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice,” is directed by Christopher Price. Jane Austen’s classic 1813 tale of “dislike at first sight” has been adapted for the stage by J. Hanreddy and J.R. Sullivan, and features all the quick wit, snobbery and charming love stories of the original.
Production crew members include Jen Roe, costumes; JP Gagnon, lighting; and Jim Hall, sound.
On “Winter Cabaret” nights, back from a two-year hiatus, the theater is transformed to resemble a nightclub, and sketch comedy, live music and desserts are served up.
“Pride and Prejudice” and “Winter Cabaret” will be presented Jan. 21 through Feb. 20. For a full schedule of performances, visit www.theaterproject.com. All tickets are pay what you want, with a suggested price of $18. Tickets are available online or call 729-8584. The Theater Project is at 14 School St.
