DIXFIELD — Steven J. “Mouse” Paul, 52, of Main Street, Dixfield, formerly of Cumberland Street, Rumford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 24, 1958, in Hartford, Conn., a son of Edmond H. and Alice L. (Murray) Paul. Steven was educated in Mexico schools and was a graduate of Mexico High School.

He was employed at Bisson & Hebert in Rumford for many years. Steven loved fishing, camping, hunting, and watching NASCAR racing.

Surviving are two daughters, Jessica L. Paul of Leeds and Amanda L. Paul of Auburn; two sisters, Sandy DeCourcy and husband, Peter, of Mexico and Jane Bradford and husband, Alan, of Rumford; three brothers, Gary Paul and wife, Robin of Mexico, David Paul and wife, Wendy, of Custer, Kentucky, and Tim Paul and wife, Nancy, of Pensacola, Fla.; two grandchildren, Rebecca Paul and Balen Philips; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.
