FARMINGTON — Peter Rodney Berry, 59, a resident of Barker Street, Jay, died Thursday, Jan. 6, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, following a battle with cancer.

He was born Oct. 1, 1951, in Farmington, the son of Francis and Addie (Bucklin) Berry. Peter graduated from Enfield High School in Connecticut. He had been working in the maintenance department at Walmart in Farmington for the past five years. He loved the New York Yankees and New York Giants; working on his computer and road trips to the Maine coast.

He is survived by his sister, Betty Ann Rummell of Enfield, Conn.; his brother, Alvin Berry of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; and his cousin, where he resided, Debra Therrien of Jay.

He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, John Berry.
