FARMINGTON — The United Way of the Tri-Valley Area will hold its 30th annual meeting and campaign celebration Jan. 25 in the G.H. Bass Room at Franklin Memorial Hospital. 

Reservations are now being taken for the 6 p.m. dinner provided by LaFleur’s Restaurant. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 5:30 p.m.

Those attending will learn about United Way activities during 2010, honor those who helped make the ongoing campaign a success and participate in a business session where officers and new board members will be elected.

Marc Connor, Verso Paper Corp.’s Androscoggin mill manager, will share reasons why he sees the United Way as a valuable way to help communities. Dennis O’Neil, campaign chairman, will assist President Andrew Sturtevant and Executive Director Lisa Laflin with a presentation of awards.
