Rabies clinic
WILTON — A rabies clinic will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at the Wilton Town Office, 158 Weld Road, lower level. Cost will be $10 a shot.
Late fees for dog registrations will start Tuesday, Feb. 1, at a cost of $25 a dog.

FARMINGTON — Members of the Clearwater Extension Homemakers will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Shorey Chapel. The program will be on Argentina. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Tables for rent
FARMINGTON — An indoor yard sale and bake sale will be held at the Elks Lodge From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, to benefit the Mt. Blue High School German exchange. There will be many tables.

Poetry reading
FARMINGTON — A reading of the poetry of Kenneth Frost by his wife, poet Carolyn Gelland, will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the Farmington Public Library.
Frost grew up in New York City and Long Island. He received his BA from Princeton University and taught creative writing and English Literature at Columbia University and the New School before moving with his wife, poet Carolyn Gelland, to Wilton to read and write in solitude.

WILTON — The Good Shepherd Food-Bank has received a donation of $808 from Care and Comfort’s Wilton office employees. The employees chose the Good Shepherd Food Bank as the recipient of the annual Jean Fundraiser, and Care and Comfort corporate partnered with them by matching their donation.
