LEWISTON — The Maine Gladiators peewee travel hockey team picked up two wins, two losses and a tie over a five-game holiday stretch.

The Gladiators rallied for a 7-7 tie with Casco Bay. Kyle Morin, Trevor Lachance and Ben Steele each scored two goals for the Gladiators. Dustin Larochelle added a single goal. Assists went to Ryley Austin, Gavin Bates, Nathan Richard, Liam Benson, Conrad Grimmer and Griffin Wade.

Kyle Welsh notched the shutout in goal in a 3-0 win over Andover, Mass. Luc Distie, Lachance and Benson scored the goals with help from Austin, Larochelle and Grimmer.

Waltham, Mass., put awat a hard-fought game in the third period, 3-1. Ryan Raby scored the Gladiators’ goal with assists from Larochelle and Steele.

Biddeford Breakers scored three goals to the Gladiators’ two in a wild third period to pull out a 5-4 victory. Grimmer, Morin, Lachance and Cody Doyon lit the lamp for the Gladiators with assists from Steele, Wade and Dostie.

Welsh and Ridge Servidio shared the goaltending duties in a triumph over Kennebec Hurricanes. Wade led the offense with two goals and an assist. Morin got the game-winner in the third period.
