RUMFORD — Musical sounds from the tropics will fill 49 Franklin Reception Hall on Saturday, Jan. 15, when the Tinpanic Steel Band returns to the area for a night of Caribbean fun.
The 14-member steel drum band based in Auburn has been providing a warm Caribbean vibe at music festivals, sailing regattas and fundraisers since 2002. Its repertoire ranges from calypso to jazz, rock ‘n’ roll and Latin funk.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a social with a limited pub-style menu offered. Tinpanic will play from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 day of show.
