AUBURN — Yvonne Henrichon, 86, of Clover Living Center, and formerly of 153 Sabattus St., Lewiston died Friday, Jan. 7, at the Androscoggin Hospice House.

She was born in Canada, Oct. 30, 1924, the daughter of Archille and Eva (Tanguay) Lacoste.

Yvonne began her work as a nurses’ aide at her mother’s nursing home. She also ran a boarding home in her house. She then went to work at St. Mary’s Hospital and later as a private duty nurse in private homes. She ended her career at St. Mary’s Hospital working in the laundry department.

Yvonne was a homemaker who loved cooking, crafts and spending time with her family. She was a former member of Ladies of St. Anne.

In 1973, she married Roger A. Henrichon, with whom she enjoyed spending her time with at Clover Manor and attending many activities.

She is survived by her husband, Roger of Auburn; her daughter, Nicole Andree of Auburn; her son, Roger Bachand and wife, Debbie, of Minot; her grandchildren, John Giard and wife, Tricia, of Auburn, Anthony Giard and partner, Brian Mays, of Calais, Jennifer Martin and significant other, Aaron Arsenault, of Ohio, Benjamin Bachand of Pennsylvania, and Joseph Bachand of Florida; five great-grandchildren; her brothers, Larry Lacoste of Sabattus, Guy Lacoste of Thomaston and Normand Lacoste of Connecticut; her sister, Georgette Painchaud of New York; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Victor Lacoste; a sister, Rolande Begin; and a grandson, Michael Bachand.
