EAST LIVERMORE — Robert C. “Rambo” LaFleur, 67, a resident of Page Road, East Livermore, died Saturday, Jan. 8, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on Aug. 28, 1943, in Providence, R.I., the son of Adelor and Beatrice Ankers LaFleur. He graduated from Central High School in Providence. After high school Robert joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. When he returned from the military he attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence.

On July 29, 1989, he married Lee Ann Partridge in Livermore Falls. He enjoyed taking care of their horses and time spent with his family.

He worked throughout the United States as a union pipe fitter in construction, retiring in 2005. Robert was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 716.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Lee Ann LaFleur of East Livermore; daughter, Nicole Amadeo and her husband Peter of Asbury, N.J.; brother, Norman LaFleur and his wife Judith of Cranston, R.I.; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Francis LaFleur.
