BETHEL — Girl Scouts of Maine will offer “Babysitting 101” training for girls in grades five to eight from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 24 and 31, at Telstar Middle School
The program will include getting a baby-sitting business started, playtime ideas for children of all ages, understanding the likes and dislikes of children, troubleshooting and solutions to the most common problems a baby-sitter faces and Babysitting 101 certification.
All girls in grades five to eight are welcome to participate. The cost is $5 for registered Girl Scouts and $17 for non-Girl Scouts, which includes a $12 Girl Scout membership fee. Membership assistance is available.
