Between 7 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, and 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, Lewiston police responded to 812 calls for service. Of those, 209 were motor vehicle stops.

Thefts
A vehicle parked at 103 Winter St. had a hubcab stolen from it sometime between 6 p.m. on Jan. 2 and 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 4.
Two residents of Russell Park Manor at 158 Russell St. had money taken from them sometime prior to 5 p.m. on Jan. 6.
A customer of Goodwill at 1035 Lisbon St. had their black leather clutch stolen from their shopping basket on Jan. 5 at 3:10 p.m.
Operating after suspension
Curtis Bressette, 20, was charged with operating without a license and failure to give correct name on Jan. 7 at 2:36 a.m. at the corner of Birch and Bates streets.
