It’s important to me, as a caring Bethel citizen, to make it publicly known that the Bethel Planning Board will not be be addressing the asphalt plant at the Jan. 12 scheduled Planning Board meeting.

The only way that concerned citizens can find out when the Planning Board will address the asphalt plant at a future meeting will be to call the town office weekly or check the agenda.

It’s a shame that there is no other way to notify concerned citizens when an article has been canceled from any agenda.

We must stay positive on this issue and work together.
