Shortly before 9 o’clock last evening officers Shea and Langelier broke up a “house party” on Railroad Street. The alleged hostess was Sarah Dubois who lives at the famous Jacques house. Her guests were Victoria St. Germaine, Sadie Brackett and Mary Jutras, all of whom are more or less acquainted with the police.
The women were not in a particularly happy frame of mind as they were taken to the station in the patrol wagon and for a time after their having been locked up at the police station resounded with their cries and vile language. All were charged with intoxication.
