LEWISTON— A funeral Mass honoring the life of Sylvia T. Parent was celebrated on Monday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, Prince of Peace Parish, following prayers at the Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Nathan March celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’ Cemetery. During the Mass, the first reading was presented by granddaughter, Caroline Mancini and the second reading by granddaughter, Leslie Cloutier. The offertory was brought to the altar by granddaughter, Caroline Mancini and by goddaughter, Rachel Clavenger. Words of remembrance was expressed by grandson, Chris Brown. Pallbearers were Daniel, Keith and Chris Brown, Junior and Joey Parent and Eric Cloutier.
