Music in worship

PARIS — “Music in Worship” will be the focus of the 10 a.m. service at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris, Sunday, Jan. 16. Forest Perkins will be organist and special music will be by the choir and soloists. The Sunday school will be led by Renee Wales. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. All are welcome.

Drop-in for games

NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will host a drop-in program from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, for children and their parents. Board  and card games will be provided.

The event is free and open to all children and parents ages 6 to 12. No registration is necessary. Children are welcome to drop in and play for an hour anytime between noon and 5.

If a child has a favorite game, they may bring the game to share with friends. For more information on children’s programs, contact the library at 743-5309, ext. 4.

NML Math Fun

NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will host a Math Fun event from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20. The event is free and open to all children and parents from pre-kindergarten to grade six.

There will be stations set up around the children’s room to demonstrate mathematical concepts for both beginners and older students.

The program will feature a variety of mathematical concepts in a stress-free environment. Stations will include patterns, counting and shapes. Numerous books featuring math will be on display in the children’s room during the program.
