AUGUSTA — The Northeast Horsemen’s Conference and Trade Show is returning to Maine for the 17th straight year.

Organizers are expecting 4,000 to 5,000 people at the show at the Augusta Civic Center. The show is held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The show features more than 26,000 square feet of exhibit space with vendors displaying horse trailers, saddles, barns and other equine products and services.

The event also includes two days of educational conferences featuring speakers who will address a number of topics and issues of interest to horse owners.
