POLAND — The wedding of Rachael Leigh Penley and Jamie Rey Juntura was held at 4 p.m. on June 25 at All Souls Chapel in Poland. Phil Strout, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Juntura is the daughter of Wayne and Linda Penley of Auburn. Mr. Juntura is the son of Reynaldo and Tami Juntura of Greene.
The bride wore an ivory gown with all over beaded lace trumpet, Empire waistline and cap sleeves. She carried a bouquet of silk ivory lilies.
Laura Bragdon was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Tricia Lyons, friend of the couple, and Hannah Giasson and Danielle Swan, friends of the bride. Ella Penley, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Jesse Juntura performed the duties of best man for his brother. Ushers were Nick Bragdon, brother-in-law, and Dave Cherry and Kris Constanzer, friends of the couple. Nathan Bragdon, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Spring Meadows Golf Course in Gray. The couple is residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in public management. She is currently employed as an ed tech at Sherwood Heights Elementary School in Auburn.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. He is currently employed as a math teacher at Monmouth Academy in Monmouth.
