Legion to meet
LEWISTON — American Legion Post 22 will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St. Unit 22 Auxiliary will meet at 5:15 p.m.
A special segment of the meeting will be dedicated to the birthday of civil rights advocate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. A special proclamation for King’s birthday will be read by Post 22 Adjutant Jerry DerBoghosian.
There will be a 50/50 raffle and drawings for special prizes. A buffet will be served by members Bert Mathieu and Doris Hamel. All members attending must have a 2011 membership card.

Pioneer Chapter
LISBON FALLS — Pioneer Chapter 11, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at the Ancient York Masonic Hall, Route 196, when members will honor mothers and fathers.
Refreshments will follow the meeting. All members of the order are invited to attend.
AE open house
TURNER — SAD 52 Adult and Community Education will hold an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 486 Turner Center Road.
Registration is under way for winter/spring classes. New enrichment classes include Teen Yoga, FitKids, Art Hooked Rugs, Ballroom Dance, Zumba Blast, Cake Decorating, Make Your Clothes Fit and Hula Hoop Fitness.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Jan. 11 were as follows:

No game was played Jan. 12 due to the snowstorm.
