Franklin Memorial Hospital recently replaced an anesthesia machine with a new anesthesia delivery system. After local anesthesiologist Dr. James Lancaster learned that the Franklin County Animal Shelter, Farmington, has coveted an anesthesia machine for years to anesthetize its larger animals during surgery, hospital officials decided to donate the still-operational machine to the shelter.
