Gov. Paul LePage has done it again — embarrassed the citizens of Maine with his salty, candid remark about not accepting the NAACP’s invitation.

I admire him for what he has accomplished in spite of his tough, humble upbringing. His “cute” remarks may be humorous in private but have no place in the public arena.

I’ll have more respect for him if he stops being the bully on the playground.
