Thanks to the generosity of the businesses and individuals in our area, the Chamber was able to provide 125 holiday food baskets to families throughout Franklin County on December 17. This year, the Chamber renamed the holiday food basket program to the “Gerry Wiles Holiday Food Basket Program” in honor and memory of a great man in our community. Mr. Wiles served and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help those in need in several local towns throughout his lifetime. He would be proud of what we were able to accomplish this year. His wife, Roma Wiles, and son, Kent, were on hand to help with the packing and distribution of the food baskets on Friday.
