AUBURN — Pierre and Susanne Hamann of Auburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Susanne Hamann of Auburn, to Eric Kramarz of Auburn, son of Ricky Kramarz of Lewiston and Mirelle Sutton of Turner.

Miss Hamann is a 2005 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and 2008 magna cum laude graduate of Husson University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and an associate degree in psychology. She has been employed at the Maine State Police barracks in Gray for almost two years.

Mr. Kramarz is a 1993 graduate of Lewiston High School and 2001 retiree from the United States Army, where he received the honorable rank of sergeant. He has been employed at the Maine State Police barracks in Gray for almost 10 years.

An Aug. 30 wedding will be held at Mount Apatite in Auburn.
