LEWISTON — The Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District, AVSWCD, will hold a public meeting to gather input for a countywide natural resource assessment from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the USDA Service Center Conference Room, 254 Goddard Road

Wednesday, Feb,. 2 is the storm date. A light snack will be provided. Special accommodations will be made, upon prior request, for individuals with dietary restrictions, disabilities and vision or hearing impairment.

The assessment is intended to provide a comprehensive look at the status and condition of natural resources in the area. The AVSWCD hopes that a partnership of concerned individuals, groups and agencies can use the assessment to tackle the conservation issues facing Androscoggin and Sagadahoc counties.
