LEWISTON — The opening of the Atrium Art Gallery’s biennial exhibition, “Area Artists 2011,”postponed due to inclement weather, has been rescheduled for Friday, Jan. 28.

The free reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the gallery at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College, 51 Westminster St.

Featured in the exhibit are works by 84 artists from Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties. Included are paintings, prints, drawings, photographs and works in clay, glass, fiber and mixed media.
