AUBURN — Auburn Adult Education has announced its winter/spring classes.

All academic classes are available and are scheduled to begin the week of Jan. 31. CNA and CNA-Medication Technician classes are still open. Other medical classes scheduled to begin are: HER/EMR for the Medical Office, Hospital Billing and Coding, Medical Billing and Coding/Terminology, Medical Front Office Skills, Medical Office Specialist, Medical Transcription Certificate Program and Pharmacy Technician Training Certificate Program.

Practical Computer Applications is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 31. It will provide comprehensive hands-on knowledge needed to use four components of the Microsoft Office 2007 suite.

Typing/Keyboard, Thursdays, Feb. 3, will be presented on computers and focus on learning the keyboard, correct key stroking techniques, accuracy and formatting of business and personal documents.

Beekeeping, An Introduction, on Tuesdays, will start Tuesday, Feb. 1, and will introduce the art and science of beekeeping; Beginners Line Dancing will run Mondays, starting Jan. 31, for 10 weeks.

Cardio Fitness Boot Camp, Tuesdays and Thursdays for seven weeks, will start on Tuesday, Feb. 8; German New Medicine, beginning Thursday, Feb. 17, will present an overview of a different medical model.

A self-defense class will be held Thursday, Feb. 17. The class will focus on how to be prepared mentally and physically against an attacker. Hula Hoop Fitness for Beginners will run Wednesdays for six weeks starting Wednesday, Feb. 2. Learn to See Auras will be held Monday, Feb. 28.

Other classes scheduled are Middle Eastern Dance (belly dance) Wednesdays starting Feb. 2 for six weeks; Model Railroading, Tuesdays, starting Feb. 8, for eight weeks; Nutrient Dense Foods for Optimal Health, Tuesday, Feb. 1; Manifesting Made Easy, Monday, Feb. 7; Vinyasa Yoga (all levels), Wednesdays for six weeks starting Feb. 2; and Women’s Self-Defense, for six weeks starting Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Oil Painting for Beginners, Thursdays, Feb. 3, for eight weeks; Qigong for the Season: Warming for Winter, Tuesdays, Feb. 1, for 15 weeks; Sew, Recycle and Save, Mondays, Jan. 31, for six weeks.

Street Survival Self Defense, Thursday, Feb. 3, one class; Vinyasa Yoga (all levels) Wednesdays for six weeks starting Feb. 2; Whole Cultured Foods for Health, Tuesday, Feb. 8; Wing Chun Kung Fu: An Introduction, Mondays, 15 weeks, starting Jan. 31; Women’s Self-Defense, Tuesdays for six weeks starting Feb. 1; Introduction to Computers, Tuesdays, two weeks. Feb. 1.
