AUBURN — Funeral services for Phillip W. Baril were held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, after prayers at the Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard McLaughlin officiated, assisted by Deacon Denis Mailhot. The first and second readings were presented by Kathy Goodwin, the Gospel was proclaimed by Deacon Denis Mailhot as was the prayer of the faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Jakob and Dustyn Matson and Danika Landers. Words of remembrance were shared by Michael Baril. Bearers were Dick Breau, Joe Tirrell, Lucien (Pete) Chabot, Addison and Aaron Landers and Jason Baril. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program.
