CASCO — Lakes Region towns are offering activities such as snowshoeing, indoor walking and fitness classes to keep area adults fit during the cold months.
The Casco and Sebago recreation departments have purchased snowshoes for public use; residents of both towns can sign them out. Casco residents can find them at Casco Recreation; in Sebago, they’re available at Sebago Elementary School.
Casco is also holding group snowshoeing followed by a book club at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday at the Casco Recreation Building.
Casco Recreation, Crooked River and Windham/Raymond Adult Education departments, and the Bridgton Community Center are all offering indoor walking, as well.
