GLASTONBURY, Conn. — Yvette Berube Jacques, 94, died on Sunday, Jan. 23, at Glastonbury Health Care Center.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1916, in Lewiston, the daughter of Ludger and Celina Vaillancourt Berube. She married Paul Emile Jacques in 1941. Yvette worked at Royal Typewriter in Hartford, Conn., from 1955 to 1970. Yvette was the last of 12 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Normand and Kathryn Jacques of Marlborough, Conn.; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Brazzale and husband, Peter Brazzale, of East Hampton, Conn.; three grandchildren, Amy Jacques Purdy and husband, Brian Purdy, of Haddam, Conn., Jennifer Jacques Larkin and husband, James Larkin, of Haddam, Conn., and Jeffery M. Jacques of East Hartford, Conn.; five great-grandchildren, Samuel and Andre Purdy, and Emma, Abigail and Nathan Larkin.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Paul Emile Jacques; and her son, Raymond C. Jacques.
