Legion to meet
AUBURN — American Legion Post 31 will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the post home. The Legion will also host a public breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at its Washington Street location. Cost is $5 a plate.
Pantry is empty
POLAND — The Tri-Town Food Bank pantry is empty. Items such as peanut butter, eggs, butter, canned fruit/veggies, potatoes, spaghetti sauce, cereal, soups and tuna are needed. Take donations to Poland Community Church, 212 Main St., or call Linda Laskey at 998-4227.
Bridge results
LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose on Jan. 25 were as follows:
First/second tie, Claire Lyons and Mary Ann Trafton with Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; third, Jeanine Kivus and Patricia Garcia.
No game was played at Schooner Estates in Auburn on Jan. 26 because of weather.
Games are played at 9 a.m. Monday and Tuesday and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Schooner Estates. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.
