Mike Labbe, left, of Minot and Ed Comeau of Mechanic Falls help clear debris after a driver heading to the Wal -Mart Distribution Center in Lewiston fell asleep and his tractor-trailer went off the Maine Turnpike in Auburn and into the woods Friday at 6:28 a.m. The driver suffered minor injuries, Maine State Trooper Anthony Keim said. Labbe and Comeau, who work for Cote Crane & Rigging in Auburn, helped employees from Greeley’s Garage in Auburn in pulling the truck out of the woods. Employees of Blackie’s Farm Fresh Produce helped unload food from the damaged trailer.
