ORONO —The University of Maine men’s basketball has been selected to play at Siena on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. as part of the ESPN BracketBusters series.
Maine used to battle Siena as they were both part of the old North Atlantic Conference, but it will be the first time they have clashed since 1989.
The Black Bears are currently on a seven-game win streak, and are ranked 25th in the most recent CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top-25 Poll released today.
Maine currently sits atop the America East standing with an 8-1 record in league play, and boasts wins over UMass from the Atlantic-10 and Penn State from the Big Ten during the non-conference portion of the schedule.
The Black Bears take on Boston University Tuesday live on Comcast SportsNet New England. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
