LEWISTON — Funeral services were held Wednesday for Emilia Marie Doyon in the upper church of the Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul after prayers at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home. Officiating was Monsignor Marc Caron, with a reading done by her godson and grandson, John Chasse. Committal prayers were said at St. Peter’s Cemetery by Brother Irenee Richard. After the committal prayers, family and friends gathered at Marco’s Restaurant in order to continue the celebration of her life. Pallbearers were Dan Chasse, John Chasse, Matt Chasse, Ron Doyon and Dennis Doyon, all grandchildren of the deceased, and Marc Doyon, a great-grandson.
