LIVERMORE FALLS — RSU 36 directors have rescheduled their meeting to hear from the public on closing the middle school to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at the school.

Superintendent Sue Pratt said she will be at the middle school at 5 p.m. if anyone would like a tour of the building.

The board is expected to make a decision on the school at the meeting.

Pratt said there was a good turnout of parents and children tour the Jay Middle School on Tuesday evening.

If the board approves closing the Livermore Falls Middle School and the voters in Livermore and Livermore Falls agree, students from RSU 36 would go to Jay.
